Promotions

Lane Gorman Trubitt, L.L.P. announces the promotion of three partners to the firm; Dawn Möeder, Pat McCown, and Landon McAfee.

Dawn Möeder has been with LGT since 1999 and possesses more than twelve years of public accounting experience. She was awarded both a Bachelors in Economics with Accountancy and a Masters in Economics and Finance from the Loughborough University of Technology in Leichestershire, England. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Dallas Chapter of Texas Society of CPAs (TSCPA).

Landon McAfee joined LGT in 1993 and has wide-ranging experience in all aspects of project management of audit and accounting engagements and compliance auditing which has quickly made him one of the most sought after CPAs in the Southwest for the Construction, not-for-profit, and healthcare industries. He graduated from the Abilene Christian University with a Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).

Pat McCown came to LGT from PWC in 2007 with over 15 years of experience in multi-state tax planning, audit representation, refunds and consulting. His diverse client base encompasses corporations in the manufacturing, oil and gas, transportation, health care, high tech and telecom industries. In the past, Pat has been a frequent contributor to several Accounting and Business periodicals. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), Institute for Professionals in Tax (IPT), and Texas Tax Payer and Research Association.
