Collin has worked with dealerships as a full-service CPA for over 27 years and leads Lane Gorman Trubitts’ (LGT) Dealer Services Group, the largest niche practice in the firm, spending nearly all of his time working in the niche. Collin works in many facets of dealership advisory, assurance services (audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures), tax services (compliance, planning, structuring, and provision calculations), and consulting services (due diligence [buy and sell side], reinsurance company consulting [tax strategy/structuring], compliance audits, and bank covenant and relational/succession consulting). He is involved in national and state dealership associations and has presented at both LGT sponsored meetings as well as at association conventions on various dealership topics. Collin is also actively involved in the “dealership CPA” association Auto Team America and is the current chair of the steering committee, the group which runs the association. Outside of work, Collin is a dedicated youth sports coach, having served as head and assistant coach for his daughter's soccer team for eight years and assistant coach for his son's basketball team for four years.
